IF A BEARING REMAINS IN THE RECEIVER
After extraction, a bearing may occasionally remain inside the receiver, especially when adhesive residue from the spinner is present.
First, turn the Super Collider upside down and gently tap the threaded rod. In most cases, the bearing will release.
If adhesive has accumulated inside the receiver, the receiver can be twisted off the threaded rod for quick access and cleaning with rubbing alcohol and a Q-tip.
HOW TO REMOVE AN R188 BEARING

BEARING EXTRACTION
Follow the sequence below. Keep the bearing and tool centered throughout the extraction process and apply pressure gradually.
POSITION THE TPU BUFFER CAP
Place the TPU Buffer Cap securely onto the Universal Receiver.
POSITION THE SPINNER
Place the spinner onto the Buffer Cap with the R188 bearing centered directly over the receiver opening.
PLACE THE STAINLESS STEEL SLUG
Position the Stainless Steel Slug directly over the bearing. Keep the slug centered before applying pressure.
PRESS THE BEARING OUT
Reinstall the 5-Star Drive Knob and turn it slowly while keeping the tool stable. Apply gradual, controlled pressure until the bearing releases from the spinner.
REMOVE THE SPINNER
Once the bearing has released, loosen the Drive Knob and remove the spinner from the Super Collider.
RETRIEVE THE BEARING
Remove the TPU Buffer Cap and retrieve the Stainless Steel Slug and bearing. If the bearing remains inside the receiver, turn the Super Collider upside down and gently tap the threaded rod to release it.
If resistance suddenly increases, stop and check the alignment of the spinner, bearing, and slug before continuing. Do not compensate for poor alignment by applying additional torque.
BEARING INSTALLATION
Keep the spinner, bearing, and tool centered throughout installation. Apply pressure gradually and confirm the bearing remains level as it enters the seat.
POSITION THE TPU BUFFER CAP
Place the TPU Buffer Cap securely onto the Universal Receiver.
POSITION THE SPINNER
Place the spinner onto the Buffer Cap with the bearing seat centered directly over the receiver opening.
APPLY BEARING ADHESIVE
Apply Loctite or tape adhesive inside the spinner's bearing seat as needed. Keep excess adhesive away from the bearing and surrounding surfaces.
PRESS THE BEARING IN
Position the R188 bearing in the seat and reinstall the 5-Star Drive Knob. Turn the knob slowly and apply gradual, controlled pressure until the bearing is seated flush.
REMOVE THE SPINNER
Loosen the Drive Knob and remove the spinner from the Super Collider. Confirm that the bearing is seated evenly and flush.
If the bearing begins entering the seat unevenly or resistance suddenly increases, stop and correct the alignment before continuing. Do not force a misaligned bearing into the seat.
