Pre-cut tape has been always been a big request when it comes to our tape, The reason why this is not possible is because the tape is skivved and so thin the second you unpeel a pre-cut the it will curl into itself. The strips as shown in this video show just how controllable it is to apply a full piece. The fear of the x-acto knife is plays a big factor and I get it - a sharp blade against your expensive fidget. But I'm telling you it is easy and safe. As I get more content done, I will show you how to tape more fidgets but the methodology is the same:
1. Unpeel enough to get the tape onto your fidget while pulling the backing.
2. Cut any excess tape off leaving up to half an inch remaining on all sides.
3. Use your finger nail, finger, toothpick to "Route" the plate's edge. This is the most important part to get the best results.
4. Gently apply the X-Acto knife to the edge of the plate and use your other hand to do most of the moving and turning. The previous routing now gives your X-Acto knife guidance. Give it at least 2 passes to make sure the tape is completely cut.
5. Peel the tape off and you're done!
